Eva Dadlez (pictured above) organized a Zoom author-meets-commentators session on Adornment for the American Society for Aesthetics virtual annual meeting November 11-14, 2020. The session, was at 11.15 EST Thursday November 12, and featured Eva, Ley Cray, and Julia Minarik as commentators, with Marilynn Johnson as chair.

Stephen presented a recorded keynote at the sixth conference of the Society for Aesthetics in Slovakia – Coordinates of Aesthetics, Art, and Culture –12-13 November, Prešov, Slovakia. The theme of the conference was aesthetics and philosophy of everyday life. The recorded talk was followed by a live Q&A via Zoom. The talk was scheduled for 13th of November (Friday) at 9:00 – 10:00 AM (CET) = (GMT+1) .
POSTPONED TO 2021 DUE TO COVID. Stephen takes part in a session at the Atlantic All-ages Chess Festival, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, July 31-August 3, 2020.

Stephen chaired a Zoom session on Robert Stecker’s Intersections of Value (OUP) sponsored by the American Society for Aesthetics on July 23. Presenters: Derek Matravers (Open U), Julianne Chung (York U), Tom Leddy (San Jose State), and Robert Stecker (CMU); 40+ participants from ten countries.
On December 10, 2019, there was an author-meets-commentators session on Adornment at the New Zealand Association for Philosophy Conference in Auckland. Justine Kingsbury (University of Waikato), Sondra Bacharach (Victoria University) and Richard Menary (Macquarie University) participated.
